A raw, unedited, 5-minute field recording of various people (kids and adults) done at a school lobby (a therapy center to be exact), somewhere in my hometown. This is perfect for small to medium-sized crowds and the like. ~. You're free to modify the sound effect and/or use it for any project(s) you're doing whether it's animation, video/online games, audiobooks, soundscapes, or whatever tickles your fancy, be it commercial or noncommercial. The final boss of 2020. Brand new content after years of not bringing brand new content! this one is entirely done on software. Plugins used for creation:ni kontakt 5 with stigma by sampletraxx, pain piano by silence+other sounds, chillerscapes free library by resomonics, ni massive, etc. Effects: izotope mastering plugins, berzerk distortion, defacer, guitar rig 5, raum, eventide black hole, xctr, stock fl studio reverbs and eq's, etc.

I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.

This is the sound of an slightly old and noisy ceiling fan being switched on, run for a bit, and then turned off. It has been recorded on my cheap android phone in an empty room in mumbai, india. There is some room tone hiss as well mixed in. You can loop the middle part to extend as the drone / rumble is quite steady. Feel free to use as and where you wish.

The giant 1000 liter wine tank at red maple vineyard in the hudson valley - west park, ny. This sounds amazing for "old vocals"a very springy plate tank reverb. Complex and colorful. Over 6 hours of night ambient shot in the countryside near a house close to the main road. Rain hitting the vines, thunders, village sounds, crickets, occasional cars passing on the road, far thunders with no rain, dogs barking, roosters, all in one unedited take. This was recorded with the mobile phone (allview e2 living) with the "voice recorder" app at maximum quality settings so do expect a lower quality. You are free to use this sound as you wish.

Recorded with tascam dr-07mkii. While on holiday staying in a country cottage near some cow fields, there was a mother cow and what must have been her 2 calves which had been put into separate fields either side of a road. This was obviously pretty distressing for the cows and so they were constantly mooing at each other and being the kind of guy i am, of course i recorded it!. I have done as much as i can to reduce wind and other background noises (the windshield i have for my dr-07 doesn't seem to do a lot except make it look like it's got a 70s afro) and have trimmed all the cow sounds out and put them together into this one file. Some are better than others, it was hard to know which cow was gonna make a noise next. Chinese restaurant (portugal) about 10 x 10 mts large with 20 people inside. Sunday 9pm. Chatter (portuguese + other), chairs dragging, some noise from the street behind the big glass window in front; noise from the kitchen (cutting vegetables on wood, frying on wok, chatter in chinese). Mic pointing at the center of the room. In front a big avenue (door closed). On my right/behind is the kitchen on an open space. Recorded with zoom h4n-pro 48 khz / 24 bit. This one was also made in sylenth1, its a pretty dirty gritty sounding patch i made. Has a bit of the 'decimate' bitcrusher (sylenths', and i also added a bass amp in logic to fatten the sound up, its played in g. I always name my loops with the first letter on its key hence the name ghost chord=) , and is a loop made at 128bpm. Feel free to use it in any of your works + more importantly let me know why you like it?i take quite some time into adding details in my sounds. I find making a loop can be very good for tuning your ears & production techniques, because like an artist if your painting something small u add a lot more detail. This is a quick fire sound i made using qubodup's "swing 25" public domain/cc0 upload on this site. It's a bamboo stick swinging, which i layered and toyed with to get the results here. For those curious, here are the steps. * i took the file into reaper, and slowed the file's playback rate to 31% of the original. * i then duplicated the file three times, for a total of 4 tracks. * track 1 (lowish gas-burner sound):- reverb (drum-room impulse response, a medium-sounding reverb with a slight deadness to it. In free impulse loader reverberate le, stretched impulse to 150% and set attack time to 0. 218s). - eq (-8db bandpass near 200hz, rising back to 0 by the 1k mark. Low-pass applied at 5. 8khz). * track 2 (lowest of sounds, like a bassy gas-burner):- chorus effect. That's it. (specifically acon digital multiply, a free plugin, set to the "romantic" preset). * track 3 (not as low as track 2, but closer to track 2 than 1)- reverb (a large hall impulse response. I was just messing around with audacity again, this time slowing down my recording like a tape record, which not only stretched the time, but also turned down the frequency range which resulted in pitch shift. I stumbled around a sound that sounded like a huge horn exhaust - like those war pipes from celtics. So i experimented a little bit and made this one. Original recording was mono (but recorded to stereo track), however i added a reverb effect which created a nice stereo reverb effect. Feel free to use in games :).

I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.

In this sound i am leaving the office, opening a set of doors and walking outside to the sound of rush-hour traffic going by. You can hear the sound change from the reception area indoors to the loud outdoor sound of traffic. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. An extactor hood starting to work, running for a couple of seconds and stops. I decided to not record the switch on, switch off because it didn't "sound right" to me. Another free instrumental by anonymous producer mesostic. At a slow tempo, and with dissonant synthy chords, this is the perfect track for a hardline rapper to spit out some lines to. Or maybe it would make a great quirky soundtrack to your next homespun film project. The song was written in Ableton Live using Ableton core instruments and the U-He Diva soft synth on the lead line. I was looking for the sound of a hot engine clicking and found just one with lots of background noises. So i decided to build it from scratch in bitwig studio and this is it. The sound starts with fast clicking slowing down. It's not perfect, you can still hear it's made from samples. But as the sound is normally used at low volume, i think i can get away with it. Feel free to add a gate and shape it even further. I may upload an updated version later.
